Horizon’s NITRO range of fly rods is a completely new range of rods that redefine fly rod performance. These rods have the performance of top-end, American-made fly rods at a fraction of the price. The 5- and 6-weight rods are ideal for anglers looking for a fast-actioned freshwater rod that will deliver flies to distant targets and will drive a fly line into the teeth of a wind. These rods are ideal for South African stillwaters.

The 8-weight rod is a casting dream and will carry the largest flies to the target with ease. The staff at Frontier Fly Fishing designed this rod with the pursuit of largemouth yellowfish in mind, as well as estuary and saltwater flats species such as bonefish and triggerfish.
All NITRO fly rods come with a spare tip and spare 2nd section.
